Directions to Orkestai Farm Within the Planting Fields Arboretum

Please study this map.

As you enter the state park, you will pass through a gate with a big sign that says “Planting Fields”, and drive along a newly planted allée of oak trees.

Drive a few hundred yards. You will come to a fork and see a sign that points left and says “Visitor Parking.” Do not park there. Stay to the right and go past the orange cones, and around the chain.

EVEN THOUGH IT SEEMS YOU CANNOT DRIVE FURTHER HERE, YOU HAVE PERMISSION IF YOU ARE GOING UP TO THE FARM!

As you drive, you will see a greenhouse in front of you. It is the Camellia House. Make a left when you reach it.

Drive until you reach a traffic circle. Follow the directional arrows left towards the Manor House (last landmark listed on the sign below).

You are on the correct path if you pass the Superintendent’s house on your right.

Then you will pass the Manor House on your right.

After the Manor House you enter the “Meadows District”.

When you come to a fork in the road, go right, off the paved road and onto a pebble road.

Stay to your left and go up the hill, passing a large gravel parking lot with tractors and machines.

Park at the end of the gravel lot.

After you park, make your way to the field just a little way from the lot. You will see a “Welcome to Orkestai Farm” sign. Congratulations! You’ve made it to the the farm.

Make a left (east) at the sign into the farm and chances are you’ll see of one of us.

**If needed for accessibility reasons you can park right at the farm’s large gate in front of the grey shipping containers. Please only use this option if needed.
